2005 Shinka Limited Edition Rx8 for sale for only 2800. Only 1357 of its kind.
Cons-
-Car needs Paintjob ($300 at Mako)
-Car has check engine but its a common problem with Rx8, something with fuel cap
-Car windows get stuck every now and then
-Less serious: Interior could use detailing, some cracks in leather seats
Total investment about $1300-$1500 and thats if you care about detailing/painjob. In reality with less than $1000 you could fix mechanical issues and be done with it.

BRAND NEW BATTERY (got it just a week before i decided to sell car and stopped driving it)

-only 1357 made in the US

-Runs fine
Worth about 5-7k if it was in good condition but I was youn and didn't take care of the rotary or paint like I should have. If you buy it off me and invest about $300 for paintjob, $150 for door motors if window issue is that important to you, and about another $800 to fix check engine problem then all in all you spent about 4k and have a limited edition Rx8. Even selling the car for parts after you buy it from me you could potentially make money, Please do not waste my time asking me to fix the car or anything like that, I'm a student and I work, both fulltime and don't have any time to invest. Being sold as is.
