I am selling my manual 4-speed on the column 1958 Mercedes 190 Ponton
Ive only owned it for about 8 months, I've had it parked in my garage since then and hadn't done anything to the car besides registered it and get title on it.
Due to my side business expanding I now need to store the car outside, but it kills me to leave it parked outside. So Im putting it for sale hoping it goes to a good home.
The car is SOLID! For the age of the car it drives, feels, and looks great! I Always get waves and complainants on the car anytime I take it out for a spin.
The car IS a project car, that needs some work. I will try and be as descriptive on what stuff needs attention. (To my knowledge)
Needs:- front brakes need to be redone- carburetor needs work- needs seat belts- seals around all windows and glass- needs a side view mirror- has 1 tiny hole in the back seat - left headlight has ring missing Now, to my knowledge that is all that needs attention. I took it down to a shop in Encinitas where they work on theses cars and had them look at it and stated that yes the brakes and carb definitely need to be redone. Now, since Im not to mechanically incline I put off on attempting to do the work myself which Im sure its not to to difficult.
