I found this Car sitting on a back yard in 2012 I was told it had been sitting there for a few years 3-4, The head was just done, But it Needed a lot of work so I took off the old carpet, Re-wrap all the wiring from the back seat all the way to the engine bay. I installed dynamat all over the car and the trunk area too. the car was painted 6 months ago with correct code 199 for this Cosworth edition, always been in my garage.
This Cars are getting rare and this one is an automatic I like it better than stick shift here in LA traffic.This Car has the French yellow fog lights Option.
There's 3 things that Need attention still:
The windows don't work , The A/C , (have a new compressor will go to new owner) and the transmission shifts a little hard, I was told it's the Vacuum modulator and may be the kickdown cable, the trans shifts in all the gears strong . (may get that fix before selling it at a Mercedes shop .
I had replace all the parts mention above, this was going to be my weekend toy. the leather its still decent for the age of the car.I done My best to bring this classic 190E back to life I invested a lot of time & $$$.
