This is a 1990 Mercedes Benz 300CE Two Door Sport Coupe. I believe this car is powered by the MB 3.0 Liter 24 valve straight 6 cylinder gas engine with an automatic transmission. This car was only imported for a few years, I think I saw that MB only brought around 20K to 30K of these - total - to the States. Car runs and drives well and body is straight, does have a transmission leak, but that hasn't stopped it, I have just added trans fluid, as needed when I was using it. I used this a my daily commute car until last Fall, then I inherited a hand-me-down car from my kids, I don't need two cars. This car has over 270K miles, but still cruises as solid as a rock - even over the speed limit here in Oklahoma (our highways are 75 mph speed limits). Outside is white, inside is tan leather. Could use a detail and Driver's seat needs some repair or a new cover, but the rest of the interior is really nice, considering the age of this car. The front seat belt tensioners work correctly, the seats move as they should, center console/arm rest still works correctly and the rear backrests fold off of the dash. Please note, this is a USED car, not a trailer queen, this was used for a commute car and who knows what else before I picked it up(?). Previous owner put 17 rims on this car (missing 3 hub caps at the center of the wheels), I never changed the rims, but I did mount some nice Michelin Tires - rides very nice. Also has new serpentine belt and tensioners / followers, and new struts all around (nice KYB's). Runs very nice. May have a dead battery, which I will replace if you plan to drive it home, otherwise, we can jump start it to load onto your trailer. If you do decide to drive it home - you are doing this at your own risk. I would drive this car anywhere, but I understand that it is used and could break down at any time - it's just part of buying a used car. Car has been sitting for several months, please keep that in mind if you are thinking or planning to drive it any distance. Please look at the pics and be sure this will work for you. This is USED - not show quality - may be scratched or have minor dent(s) too - please look at the pics and ask questions if you need more info. NOTE: I do not have any repair history paperwork for this car - I don't know any history on this car prior to my purchase. I do have a clean, clear, current tile in my name that will go to the new owner of this car. Double-checked miles this evening and remembered that I also changed out the ignition key and tumbler assembly - went aftermarket on this item, so the door key is different that the ignition key, but all works as it should.
PLEASE NOTE: I will be out of town when this item is due to close - an unexpected business trip (can't help it, can't change it). I will be gone a week, so this item will not be available for pick-up until I return to town - May 25th. Deposit is still due before I return (so I know you are really serious and do plan to pick up this item) and full payment is still due within 7 days, although I will allow some slippage on the full payment until I return (maybe a day or two - tops). And, to answer the next question - NO, I can not get someone else to handle the pick-up/exchange/shipment of this item, you will need to wait until I return to town. Item must be picked-up within 30 days or less of the close of this auction - no exceptions unless you arrange it prior to the close of the auction. Storage for more than 30 days may cost more than your final bid price and will be due with your full payment - otherwise, I will not hold this item longer than the 30 days stated. If you don't pick-up in the required or agreed upon time-frame, I will retake possession and relist the item and you will forfeit any deposits or payments made - sorry, but I can not store this item for you forever - it must be picked-up in a timely manner.
