Price: US $0.99
Pilot Owned, 1995 E300 Diesel, dubbed the Million-Mile Mercedes.
Not a single door ding, straight tight body, no squeaks or rattles.
I have owned this car for over 8 years and have loved every drive, she has been the most dependable car I have ever owned. I have driven it across cross-country, Orlando to Chicago on multiple trips and I use it primarily as a long haul car driving the highway from Orlando to Miami on a regular basis once or twice per month. I really don't want to sell her, but I am ready for an upgrade to electric.
This car is one of the most sought after Mercedes, and was the beginning of the new luxury cars. The only gripe I have with it, no glove box (what were they thinking) and no cup holders, another foresight. Otherwise, its the most comfortable ride, set the cruise control at 78mph on the highway and benefit from 32 mpg. I average between 500-600 miles per tank, which gets me from Miami to Orlando, local driving, then back to Miami with still another 100 miles to go.
Car is perfect in every way, except for the highlighted areas. Two small cracks on the rear bumper and a small spot of rust on the corner of the trunk where the left tail light meet, an easy fix. Pre-History of rear end fender bender (visible cracks in lower bumper that have appeared due to heat expansion and contraction).
New Transmission less than 5000 miles ago by the best Mercedes Shop around, and everything works, AC fan was recently replaced (sounded like a dead animal was screening and I can't handle noises) so I replaced it. I have spared no expense on maintenance on this car, if it needed something, I fixed it.
She's a 21 year old car, has a few little leaks as all diesels do at this age. Underpinnings are perfect, no rust, except for the spots on the rear fender and drivers seat.
I purchased this car from one of my best friends, and he drove it for many years before me.
