Price: US $1,500.00
I'm moving to Montana and selling my beloved 1983 300d Turbo Diesel Mercedes Benz. I have loved having this car. Benzo has been great for driving around town and trips in the region. I have been running Biodiesel in him off and on for most of the 9 years I've had him, so he already has viton fuel lines. This car cruises on the highway. According to Hagerty.com, this car is classified as a classic in fair condition and is valued at $4000, and valued at a low retail price for $4575 by Nada Guides. I'm excited to have Benzo go to a good home and it is priced to sell fast!
- I bought it in 2007 when I lived in California. I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle.- I have been running Biodiesel in it for most of the 9 years I've had it, so it already has viton fuel lines.
- The odometer stopped working the year I got it at 267, 200. I work from home and do not drive every day so I'm estimating the current mileage to be just above 300, 000.- All Power windows work. I recently replaced the switches in the front console to make them work. I was unable to get the front panel placed back in properly so it is a little loose.
- Runs perfectly well, but a little clunky when shifting between gears.
- Original owners manual included.
- It has the original sound system. The radio still works, although sometimes it is a little quirky, coming in and out of stereo. It works really well with one of those car/radio devices that you can hook up to your phone (happy to include one with the car if buyer desires).
- The Sunroof just stopped working in the last month. I believe it still opens but you have to push it closed.
- The driver-side rear view mirror original glass broke and has been replaced with a DIY mirror that does not reflect very well. You may be able to replace the whole mirror with parts from a junkyard.
- Paint is peeling. There is a dent on the rear right side from a hit & run while the car was parked. The trunk does not look flush but actually closes and locks well and seals well unless it absolutely pours rain for days.
- Spacious Trunk
- See pictures for condition of interior leather. It's in mostly good shape with one slit.
- One small spot of yellow paint on front bumper that could be buffed out.
- Comes with spare tire.
- One back seatbelt is stuck behind the seat and needs to be pulled out somehow.
- Hazard light switch isn't working. Probably an easy fix.
- Heat works; AC does not
I'm including all the maintenance records with the car. Here are some highlights:
• Oil changes - a couple times a year. Last one: June 2016
• Tire - 1 New Tire (got a flat) in 8/2014 ->4 certificates for Replacement/Refund that last 3 years
• Tires - 4 New Tires - 2012 w/50, 000 mile warranty Discount Tires
• Brakes - Replaced 4 brake pads/rotors 9/2014
• Glow Plugs replaced - 1/2013
• Transmission Service - 6/2012
• Replaced Engine Belts - 1/2011
One Known Accident:
Car was lightly rear-ended while parked. Fixed by Kirmac Collision Services
One dent on car from hit and run while parked, mentioned above.
Buyer must come to Seattle to pick up vehicle.
