Mercedes only made about 28, 000 of these 5 cylinder turbodiesel SD models from '79-'81. And they were only sold in the US and Canada.This is a very nice example of a highly original SD.The 5 cyl in line turbo diesel engine is the same one in most W123 300D models and is known as the million mile engine.
Notable flaws are shown in the pictures including one small surface rust spot.Interior leather is exceptional.
AC needs fluid.New tires and battery, recently serviced.

There is a minor intermittent radiator weep that we are still trying to isolate and repair.
