Non-smoker, very clean interior. Great project car for the collector, or for biodiesel enthusiast, due to conversion possibilities.

CLEAN TITLE
Perfect for the collector or for a veg. system conversion.
OPTIONS
All power windows work, heater works, A/C does not (see below). Original radio works as well. Moonroof works, but is slow, may need to be greased.
INTERIOR
All original radio, rugs, mats (all mats in very good condition except driver side mat which shows a 2 inch x 2 inch spot of wear), first aid kit with contents still in tact.
Interior wood trim in tact. Vinyl dashboard is solid (no cracking).
Interior Color: Palomino (brown).

Glove box contains original owner's manual, and assoc. Mercedes Benz booklets.
Additionally Chilton's manual.

EXTERIOR
Original paint is in very good condition except on the driver side door, where some of the gloss finish has become matte. However there is no paint loss on this area.
Rust: is present on three of the four wheel wells.

RUNS GREAT
It loves highway driving, these were engineered as 'touring sedans'.
TLC NEEDED
Could use new tires all around. Moonroof is slow, probably needs to be re-greased. A/C compressor.
Some black smoke at start up. Can be hard to start in winter, engine heater should be plugged in in cold weather, plug is behind bumper.
Cosmetic: 1) Rust repair needed on three (of the four) wheel wells, rear passenger most extensive, see attached photos.
2) May need some resealing in the front vent, or the front windshield may need additional sealant, as there is an intermittent leak that presents on the rear driver side floor after a heavy rain. The carpet is sectional and snaps in and out. That panel has been removed and is in the trunk to protect it. The area is dry and there has never been any mold or mildew.

New glow plugs, glow plug relay, battery, 2013.

STATE INSPECTION
Waived (no longer required) in the state of NJ due to vehicle.
Insurance: very affordable to insure with collector car insurance (my annual premium for full coverage, including collision is only $250/yr. )
VEG SYSTEM
Potential for alternative fuel use:
WVO (waste vegetable oil) custom system installed ($3000 value) by Lucas McDonals of VegParts in Ithica, NY. However system is disconnected from the engine. All wvo system schematics and paperwork included.
