A local dealer told me the car has had 4 owners: Originally purchased in NY, then it went to KY (assume that is my father), then to Florida (assume that again was my father taking to Key West), then to NC (that is me) . They also said it was never in an accident.
I have had the car detailed and cleaned so it looks good. If you want a perfect car, you will have to repaint it and redo interior. If you want a fun, affordable, fast 2 seat convertible that will go up in value over the next decade, you have found the perfect car!

| “I inherited this vehicle from my father who lived in Key West Florida. It has been sitting in my garage for 2 years without much attention because I always have kids with me, 2 seater does not work for my lifestyle. It is a great car but needs a new home. There is some rust on it, not much. Brakes and soft top are brand new. Dash has a few cracks in it. This car is not perfect, but runs really good. Engine sounds amazing. There is a tear in the driver side leather seat. Hard top is in great shape. Does it have leaks? of course, most cars from 1988 will have a leak or two. Does air conditioning work? No but there was a sealed compressor in box in the trunk when I inherited the car. It is yours so you can fix it.” |
