Garage kept and covered- since new. Never damaged. I'm the 2nd owner since new. You can buy and drive with confidence. Needs nothing. Everything works properly. This is my 2nd 2002 CLK 55 AMG Cabriolet. I bought the first one new for $89k, then traded it in for this one in 2007 when I discovered her sitting Starmarked (Dealer inspected with full 50k mile warranty) with only 11k miles sitting on the showroom of the Mercedes Dealer in Pompano Beach Florida while new car shopping for a girlfriend. This is my 3rd CLK convertible I've purchased from this dealership since 2000. IF you're looking at CLK convertibles you should know the convertible tops need to have the tension cables replaced after certain years of use- by the dealer for the tops to open and close perfectly. I had this done in 2014. It's expensive. Also there's an oxygen sensor in the air intake manifold that when goes bad- you can't just replace the sensor (that would make too much sense!)- you must replace the entire intake manifold. I had this done 11/14 also expensive, otherwise the check engine light will repeatedly come on. A mechanic can repeatedly turn it off- but it will come back after a couple of days. So beware all of this when shopping these cars- you can buy one that looks fine- but the light will come back on days later. . I changed out the entire manifold to prevent this issue from ever happening. New brakes ALL around including rotors and four (4) new Hankook tires ALL within 500 miles. K&N filter- only Mobile 1 synthetic oil since new. Most recently changed within 60 days. Maintained by Mercedes Dealer and/or All Star Motors in N.Miami, Fl.
Why the CLK 55 AMG? They're wickedly fast and narrow (for whipping through traffic on the Interstate-something a wider car can't safely do), yet extremely reliable and quite stealth-with a backseat! They corner like they're on rails, and stop on a dime. 0-80-full stop in less than a quarter mile! These cars cost $40k more new than the CLK 430s for a reason. It's the brakes, suspension, hp, and the elegant ALL leather interior (including dash), air bolstered front seats, ice cold dual system AC. First Aid kit, includes car cover. Why selling? I'm married now, so no longer need a panty dropper convertible. If your a single guy then I assure you that a status named convertible along with an expensive watch WILL up your game in attracting quality women. They just appear out of seemingly thin air. Those who know-know.
Has the Designo interior, Bose stereo with 6 disc player, air bags, has the air dam with carrying bag for behind the front seats (to stop air from blowing forward at you), interior still smells new.

I've purchased and sold nice boats and cars here on Ebay with excellent results. I don't have this vehicle advertised anywhere else as I don't wish to deal with Craiglist type buyers. I've happily paid the Ebay fees to sell here so I can deal with quality people. So please don't make 'craigslist stupid offers'. I'm not selling junk. Thank you.
The sole negative feedback I have is from some person whom I have no clue to who they are. I sold my boat quite successfully here on Ebay to a local buyer. There was certainly no paperwork issues. Some wacko I suppose, but this is the first time I've been back to Ebay in years, so missed my opportunity to have it removed.
