2002 Merc G-Wagon. I've had this for just under 4 years
and it has been an amazing vehicle. I still get complements when I pull in
places. This is the rare Tectite Grey Metallic, you will not see many this
color. The stereo has been upgraded to a Kenwood touchscreen with Sat Nav &
Bluetooth. I still have the factory deck so it is included. New STP dual air
filters installed last month. Also upgraded to the Mercedes AMG (clone) rims.
They show a little wear on the clear coat but no major curb rash. I ordered 5
because I was going to have an exposed spare tire in the back but decided
against it. So the 5th rim is included still in the box. The guy before me had
red brembo brake caliper covers installed on the front breaks (little plastic
covers) a little cheesy but the look good. The wide Firestone tires still have
another 20k miles on them I would guess.
Body: ultimately In great shape. There is a ding on the
hood, close to the windshield that has chipped paint. Also a ding on the driver
side passenger door that is only noticeable at certain angles. A few small
scratches on the bumpers, front & back from various things. Nothing you
wouldn't expect from a 14 year old vehicle.
Interior: No cracked leather, just normal wear you would
expect. I routinely treat with a leather spray. Custom floor mats & two
rubber cargo mats in the back. My dog chewed a little on the back cargo mat but
it's tucked in toward the seats so it's not noticeable. Suede (like) headliner
installed. Glovebox latch is broken. Was broken when I bought it. If you lift
up it falls off. I just used the center console. The rear center cup holders
look rough because Mercedes loves to paint grey plastic grey so the paint is
pealing because it's at foot level & gets some action. The plastic driver seat cover has a little crack from me sliding out of the seat when I get out of the car.
Quirks: The passenger seat only goes forward with the
side seat control. To go back you have to hit one of the presets on the door.
The door locks have been acting funny lately. You have to press the key fob a
few times to get them to lock/unlock. Probably just needs reprogramming. The
driver side passenger door lock feels like it may be jammed a little. Usually
have to manually unlock that door. May just need some grease.
I've listed everything I know because I want whomever
wins this to know what they are getting & be happy but this is
as-is. Make sure your bank
will loan money on this before bidding. It is considered an exotic & could
be tough to get financing on. I'll be driving this in the meantime so I would
expect it to be around 155k miles by the time the auction is over.
Happy bidding & let me know if you have any
questions. No trades or early auction ending. Deposits are non-refundable and I'll only hold it for three weeks from auction ending.
