This magnificent piece of German engineering has undergone a gentle but needed preservation over the past three years. It has the original paint, glass and interior. Everything works as it should, including the clock, automatic heating/cooling, and cruise control. It has the original Becker radio with cassette, with fully operating power antenna. It has a new cloth Hartz top. It comes with the matching red hardtop located on a cart with cover. Both keys are included, as are the original manuals. The Goodyear tires have approximately 5, 000 miles on them. The original spare and tools are in the trunk. Even the original German spanners to release the convertible top are included!
The preservation included many items to make this a car you can drive everywhere. The list is extensive but includes new brake rotors and pads, brake fluid, fan coupler, new belts and hoses, fuel pump, filter and lines, new timing chain, tensioner and tension rails, new window and boot seals, and new headlights and fog lights. The A/C was converted to current refrigerant. The preservation receipts are in excess of $12, 000.00. The car drives beautifully!!
