Well maintained 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL in good condition, I am the second owner. Idols, accelerates, shifts and breaks smoothly.
Paint has some light scratches overall I would rate 8/10, there is one nickel sized, shallow dent on rear bumper (email for picture).
Interior is clean, no dash cracks or anything of that nature. The drivers seat does have some wear on the back of it from where it rubs against the pillar (email for picture). Overall I rate the interior 9/10.
The soft top does not leak, I would recommend replacing it as I think it's original to the car and does have some discoloration on the interior side. The hard top is in great condition, 9/10.
Convertible mechanism works perfectly, moves freely with no snags or catches.
All electronics are in working order.
-The car is not in perfect condition. There are two items I would fix if I were keeping it; there is some extra play in the steering wheel, the car keeps a straight line driving down the road, it does not pull to one side or anything of that nature, however there is about 1/2 inch of play in the wheel itself, likely solved by a steering-box adjustment. The blower motor for the heat/AC makes a slight whiling sound, it likely needs replacement.
There is no rust anywhere on the vehicle.
