Here is a very hard to find SLK320 Roadster with a 3.2 Liter Twin Spark 18 Valve Aluminum V-6 215 HP 229 Lb-Ft @ 3000-4600 RPM. There are quite a few 230 Kompressors but very few 320s.
This one was sold new from our Mercedes-Benz Dealership 7-24-2002 and was a Corporate owned vehicle until It was sold to a family member of that business on 7-21-2014 and it had about 49, 000 miles on it. It is Brilliant Silver (744) with Charcoal Leather (211) with Calypus Wood Trim everywhere that has to be seen to believed it is perfect. In 2002 the Automatic Transmission W/Touch Shift was a $ 1300 upgrade . It even has Xenon Headlamps, Headlamp Washers and Heated Front Seats. MSRP was $49985.
We have checked every inch of this car in our service department and have done all the service at 50, 300 miles. All options work correctly. The Air Conditioning is ice cold. The retractable hard top is flawless and only takes about 24 seconds to go up or down. The brakes were replaced at 47746 miles. It has the correct Goodyear tires with plenty of tread and no scuffs. The wheels are free from brake dust and look like brand new with no curb rash or scuffs. It has just passed both the PA state as well as Emission inspection and both are valid until August of 2016. This SLK has not been smoked in and has never been driven in cold or snowy weather. The leather seats are in great shape with only minor scuffs of the rear cover of the center console. There are no interior rips or tears and no bad smells. This car is a dream to drive with the top up or down so if you are the high bidder there is a good chance that it will have a few more than the current 50, 377 miles. (that will be me )
All the factory books are included. There are 2 key fobs. There is the original window label and even the 2002 sales brochure which features this car in silver.
The car has been covered for most of it's life and it shows. The engine compartment has always been detailed (please zoom in on it) and is in my opinion a work of art. It is stunning!
In the off season you can lift the hood and show off the engine or just admire it by yourself. The real enjoyment happens behind the wheel however there is plenty to look at while it is parked.
The paint is in amazing condition for a car this age. It is glossy and free from acid rain damage. It has been waxed on a regular basis and has also had Auto Butler Paint Protection applied here. There are two tiny stone chips that have been touched up on the hood. On the right front fender there is a scratch that was touched up that measures less than one inch long and about 1/64 inch wide. the right headlamp has a few scuff marks on the clear plastic lens. There are 2 screws in the front bumper that are for the front license plate.
There are no dents or dings in the body.
The transmission has had all the recommended services and shifts smoothly through all the gears.
