I am selling this 1988 Mercedes Benz 560SL from my collection of Ferraris, Bentleys, McLarens, Lamborghinis and Mercedes. I have been collecting 560SLs for over 25 Years and currently have five 560SLs. Four have mileage ranging from 5, 000 to 8, 000 miles.
You are bidding on a 1988 Mercedes Benz 560SL with 21, 688 Original Miles. This vehicle is Red with Parchment leather. I purchased the vehicle from the original owner. Neat elderly gentleman. ..license plate said BUMPS! I usually only purchase 560SLs with less than 10, 000 miles. This car was in such outstanding condition, with documented pedigree and sold by its original owner that I could not pass it up. To my surprise, it even had the pink radiator tag from date of delivery.
This gorgeous color combination is unique and my favorite. I love the ivory colored interior and RED is the classic 560SL color.
The vehicle has always been garaged. It has the original spare with the tool kit still in plastic. Very rare is that the car comes with four keys, two in their original leather pouches, and the original stamped warranty plate issued on delivery from Mercedes Benz. I also have all of the books and records from date of delivery and the first aid kit.
The photos speak for the unique quality and condition of this vehicle. I am a meticulous collector. So much so, that I have had the same person wash and detail my collection for over 10 years. He arrives every Saturday at 7am to begin his weekly effort.
