Price: US $6,500.00

Description:

You are bidding on a 1972 Mercury Capri, This is a project vehicle that is almost complete and no rust. This vehicle was complete torn apart...Starting with the engine ( originally we were going to put in a 5.0 L engine and auto-matic trans ) However we chose to rebuild the original 2.6 L engine.. The engine has been completely modified it's almost like having a mini V8 engine in it. Tranny has been checked out and we installed a racing high performance clutch. Rear axle checked out and lube up. Interior was completely removed and re-upholstered with a unique signature design. All gauges removed due to they were no good and a custom dash installed with all Bosch gauges Fuel, Temp, Oil, Volt Meter, RPM's... Custom 3 row radiator, starter, alternator, Wires, Electric fuel pump on kill switch, 15 gallon racing fuel tank installed, Flow Master Exhaust system with 18 silencer's so you don't make a ruckus, Custom racing seats but have the original seats, ETC, ETC to many items to mention. Custom paint, Custom Wheels, and tires. We also have the original rear spoiler that was on the truck.
RUNS GREAT WITH PLENTY OF POWER AND GREAT LOOKS!
Now for what's needed... Minor touch up's, visor's, Stereo system, turning signal lever, speedometer, when we were removing the old gas tank my cousin's foot went through the spare tire located in the truck area...its fixed from the inside but exterior needs to be fixed see pictures, and someone that has the same passion for Capri's as we have.

Question: ghostgrunt
What seats did you use in the front, and did you bolt them to stock sliders, or custom brackets? Also, with the big wheels/tires, do you have any tire rub, and/or did you have to roll the fenders to clear the tires? Thanks very much;talk to you soon.
Answer: The racing seats came with their own sliders and custom brackets...all we had to do was bolt them down. We had to put a spacer on each wheel rim so the tires will not rub and no we did not roll the fenders. Tires DO NOT RUB in any kind of way. We have a friend that has his own tire shop and he schooled us in the does and don't of custom wheels. He figured out all the measurement to get the right custom wheel on our capri.
