This car has been garaged for past 5 years and I've spent thousands of hours working on cleaning and renovating it.
Very Clean. Pictures don't do car justice. Must see in person.
Approx $4000 parts and labor added to this Capri in past 5 years. It has been garaged and not driven each of the last 5 winters. Has not been driven in rain for 5 years and is covered in garage when not driven. One year old battery. Car starts and runs like new.
Many engine upgrades including all new hoses, belts, water pump, thermostat, plugs, wiring, plugs, distributor cap, rotor.
Suspension upgrades include all new shocks, struts and springs from and back. New front and rear linkage kits.
All new brake pads and spring kits front and back.
Relatively new tires. Tread depth measures approx 3/8 inches.
New steering column multifunction turn stalk.
New seat covers and floor mats front and back.
All exterior and interior lights work.
All new nameplates, logos, badges on exterior.
New outside door handles.
Added strut stabilizer bar that straddles the engine.
Includes LaBra front bumper/fascia cover.
Engine is extremely clean. See photos.
Also includes extras. A complete service manual. And a replacement Cardinal Red front fascia bumper cover off a different Capri. Has minor scratches. Was going to replace front Fascia once fixed minor fender damage. Includes additional drivers side fender off a teal Capri that has small dents. Includes extra replacement light bulbs, window motor switches, and more.
The muffler and exhaust system work fine. No holes nor leaks nor rattles.
Oil and filter changed 200 miles ago.
The car has some exterior damage to passenger side quarter panel with large dent at rear. Dent does not affect fit or function of trunk lid. Drivers side front fender bumper are damaged. The fascia is cracked and the very front of fender is dented. All exterior lamp lens and housings were replaced with undamaged parts. Additionally, the convertible top material is in rough shape. The top mechanisms work and function fine. Top closes and latches as designed Just the black vinyl has some wear with patch work. Additionally the back plastic window is hazy. Also the AC does not work. I've replaced the AC system compressor with rebuilt and new AC drier. However the AC expansion valve still need replacement. Also, the car was designed with a lot of aluminum heat shields on the undercarriage. These shields tend to rattle. I have added several large hose/muffler clamps over the years to reduce the rattles.
