Selling my 1963 Mercury Comet with rare S-22 sport package & factory original 260 V8 engine. The S-22 sport package features original bucket seats, center console, special badging on body & interior, & added triple 'bullet' style taillights. This vehicle also came with automatic transmission (cruisomatic 2 speed), power steering, & 3.25:1 rear end (8 Ford). I recently added a set of genuine Cragar 17 aluminum wheels (17x7) & new BFG G-Force Z rated radial tiresI saved the original granny style 14 wheels & 2 original hubcaps that go with the car. This car has a nice original body with factory Blue Satin Metallic exterior & Sultana white painted roof. Every body panel is original with no rust or major collisions & only one same color exterior repaint since new, & door jambs / inside trunk are still in original paint. Exterior repaint is considered decent driver grade with some chips & blemishes as it was done many years back. This is a life long California car with an excellent rust free understructure & California black / yellow license plates. Absolutely nothing to hide under this vehicle & I have many pictures of the underneath but could not fit them in the eBay photo allotment. Please inquire if serious & I will send under car photos to you. The bucket seat upholstery is original except the driver side. I had an upholstery shop try to duplicate the stitching & color as close as possible. Factory NOS upholstery sets are available for this year / model / color up in Oregon but the guy wants an arm & a leg. Carpet & headliner were also replaced with correct colors & materials. Door panels are original & showing some wear. Overall the interior and exterior are quite presentable & can be enjoyed as is for many years to follow. The car has always been maintained mechanically & has rebuilt suspension, new shocks, newer single exhaust, tires, & more. The car runs & drives well & even stops well in spite of the factory manual drum brake set up.
