Up for sale is a 1971 Mercury Comet in original condition, 6 cylinder engine, automatic transmission with shifter on the column, factory bucket seats (special ordered), original AM/FM radio that still works with original speakers, tires are good, original GT wheel covers and beauty rings, rear bumper is slightly dented in from backing into a telephone pole but can be straightened, needs a new headliner, car needs only minor body work having small dings, dents and a small hole in the right rear quarter panel, could use a paint job per owner preference, brakes are good, steering is good, rides and drives great, great car to cruise in as is, not many 71 Mercury Comet's left in this original condition. Would make an awesome car to restore as original or to turn into a GT. I do have a GT hood scoop in the trunk that I will let go with the car.
