Thanks for looking at my 1962 Mercury Comet Custom Sedan.
This car is just about rust free, and was a Florida car. I would be the 3rd owner of this car. I bought the car from the grandson of the original owner. The car was repainted about 5 years ago by the former owner. The car runs, and drives great, and really just needs cosmetic items. I bought the car intending to restore it to its original glory, however I am finding myself way to busy this year and the car is taking up valuable space. I have below listed some of the major items that are missing I had planned to replace. Most of the items could stay as they are if you just want a fun driver.
headliner, dome light, rear seat cover, rear parking lens, windshield has crack.
The original chrome bumpers are 100%, and most of the real chrome is in fantastic condition, the cast parts however show pitting, such as door handles, front cross shaped hood ornaments.
