You are viewing a gorgeous 1967 Mercury Comet GT Cyclone tribute. This car has only 31000 original miles. A wrecked authentic Cyclone was used to clone this absolutely beautiful Comet GT. I will try to touch on most of the import restoration information below.
Drive Train: 1967 390 S-code motor was completely rebuilt with performance in mind 2 years ago and has been driven approx. 10K miles since. Ram Air comes in through the lower headlights (still has hi/lo beams), Hooker Super Comp two piece headers exit into a full Flow Master Dual Exhaust, Reliable high energy ignition system, large aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans, serpentine belt conversion, aluminum intake with Holley 850 Double Pumper, Performance cam, ported heads, hydraulic clutch. Cyclone 4 Speed Top Loader, Posi 9 rear with 355 gears and Detroit Locker completely rebuilt everything new. Car runs amazing.
Body: 100% rust free low mileage California Comet GT was completely taken apart, stripped to bare metal, and the gleaming Polar White was expertly applied. New Rechromed original bumpers, emblems, polished trim, all new weather stripping, Factory tinted glass, reconditioned grill. Everything new or reconditioned. Doors shut like a tank and all windows roll up & down nicely. This car looks beautiful.
Interior: Mostly all new including seat upholstery, headliner, door panels, package tray, seat belts & carpet . The dash pad is very nice original. Complete Cyclone dash, with tach. Original AM radio.
Suspension: Front wheel disc brakes, new Ridler Wheels 15x8 rear & 15x7 front with brand new BFG T/A Radials 245 60 15 rear & 215 65 15 front, gives this car an aggressive stance and look. All new suspension and power steering parts.
