1968 Cougar 428 Cobra Jet
The Cougar's clean lines are different from the norm and is a great example of muscle and class. This car is no exception but does give off a pro-touring / resto-mod look while still staying somewhat original. The 428 is fresh and has been upgraded with TRW forged pistons, fresh Comp Cam, Griffin aluminum radiator, and a Ford PI aluminum intake. The Cobra Jet heads have new valves, valve springs, valve seats, keepers, and fresh 3 angle valve job. The C6 automatic is fresh as well. The exhaust manifolds are the correct Cobra Jet manifolds along with the correct CJ style H-pipe. The slick Wimbledon white paint is a couple years old, but still shows extremely well. The black interior is clean and presentable. The dash is set up for factory air condition but is currently not set up on the motor. A nice cd-player has been added in the factory location and the stereo sounds great. The Cougar has new power brakes with disc up front. The 17 inch torque thrust style wheels are new with slick black centers and has new BF Goodrich tires. Also added were Cougar Eliminator front & rear spoilers and an Eliminator hood scoop.
