Up for auction is a very nice 68 Mercury Cougar - The car had 2 previous owners and the last owner bought the car a little over 4 years ago - had it taken apart and down to the metal and repainted - the paint still looks awesome.This one was done right including doorjams, hood, trunk etc.The 289 Engine runs good and is very reliable-just drove the car over 1000 mls last week without problems.C4 tansmission shifts good, has a shift kit installed, headers and Flowmaster exhaust give the cougar the roaring sound.Tite are like new, powersteering, power disc brakes , factory AC, factory sequential taillights and the vacuum powered headlight - everything works, The Floors on that car are all original, not patched and looking like new, set of swaybars are also installed..a nice JVC stereo system was installed professionally including blue tooth .Edelbrock 4bbl carburator.The Interior is in very nice shape including headliner, carpet, dash and original seats and door panels, the driver seat has a little opening at one of the seams but not so bad to have it replaced.All gauges are workingOverall this is a very clean car - not a trailer queen - but a driver-lots of thumbs up wherever you take it
