Has up for auction a very desirable 1967 Mercury Cougar two door hardtop with 81, 792 original miles!
Other than a recent color change the car is all original. The chrome, glass, interior metal and floors are all original to the car. The color was changed from Tiffany blue to Nordic Blue Poly. The body is flawless. The under carriage is rust and damage free.
The interior is in all around wonderful original condition. The seats, headliner, carpeting door panels and dash are spotless. Only a small crack in the driver's side armrest.
The car is powered by it's original 289, 200 HP V8 with a two barrel carb. The automatic transmission is also original to the car.
As for it's performance, she runs like a champ with no leaks or blow backs. The car shifts smoothly, runs quiet and quick. It's optioned with power brakes and power steering.
The early Cougars are soaring in popularity and continue to rise in the collector market.
This is a really nice example of a 67 Cougar that can be driven anywhere and often.
