Hi everyone & welcome to my listing! I have owned this sharp cat for 2 years & it has been an excellent car for me! It is the rare 30TH anniversary edition XR7 Cougar with only 99, 014 low miles at the time of this listing which is low miles for it's year. It runs excellent. But before I go any further, I want to mention my payment requirements so there'll be no discrepancies.
PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS
A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 HRS of auctions end. It is to be in the form of PAYPAL. I will accept PAYPAL for the DEPOSIT ONLY. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of auctions end in the form of cash (in person) or cashiers check. All proceeds are to be in US funds. I will give you a receipt for the total amount once it is paid in full. The reserve will not be discussed. Just bid up to your means & if you get it, you get it! The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs & arrangements. Also, the car is sold as is & with no warranty. The title & or car will not be released to the winning bidder until it has been paid in full & or funds have properly cleared the bank. NO EXCEPTIONS! This car has a clear New York State title with no liens. I advise you to check with your home state for applicable registration info as I am not responsible for knowing them. I am very honest & value my excellent reputation more than anything! If you are just as honest then all will go well. It has an excellent 3.8 V-6 motor, an excellent automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power trunk, dual power seats, power gas door, power antenna, air conditioning, cruise control, tilt wheel, factory am/fm stereo cassette, interm wipers, factory digital clock, factory gauges, leather wrapped steering wheel, leather/cloth seats with factory 30th anniversary insignia on front seats, factory dual sun visor mirrors, P225/60R16 steel belted radial tires, factory 16 inch aluminum mag wheels, electric rear defogger, dual overhead map lights, factory 30th anniversary insignia floor mats, factory 30th anniversary ignition key & keyless entry.
DESCRIPTION
This car runs, rides & looks very nice. The engine is quiet & doesn't over heat & the transmission shifts perfectly & when it should. EVERYTHING WORKS on the car. The air conditioning blows somewhat cool & probably can use a charge & the power antenna goes down part way but does work. Everything else works fine. There is a very slight body rattle that's been there since I've owned it & no mechanic has been able to find. With the stereo on I can't notice it. There are two minor spots along both sides of the vinyl top where the paint is bubbled & on the very lower rockers as well. There is bondo on the lower rockers in front of the rear wheels as this is a very common place to find it on these cars but it still looks nice. The vinyl top is faded a bit on top & has some bumps underneath it in a few spots but over all it's in good condition. On top of the rear bumper is a religious radio station impression that is vaporized from an old sticker. There are also very minor scratches & a minor ding here & there that YOU WOULD EXPECT TO FIND ON A USED CAR. But nothing of any significance. These are all very minor & insignificant but I wanted to mention them to for all of you picky to a fault people out there & to cover my butt! The paint is showroom shiny. The seats, carpets & headliner are excellent. The exhaust is quiet & the shocks & brakes are excellent too. It just passed New York State inspection 1 month ago. I put brand new front brake pads & rotors on it then & also ball joints on both sides prior to that. YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING TO IT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO AT THIS TIME. The trunk is immaculate as well. The tires are in very good condition. The frame & floors are very solid as are the bottom of the doors. An extra set of 30th anniversary floor mats are included in the car as well as an extra 30th anniversary metal logo for the vinyl roof side.
If you like these cars then you'll love this one! It's very rare to find a 30th anniversary Cougar let alone one for sale with low miles!
