Mercury Cougar (1967)
for sale
Price: US $9,500.00
Price: US $9,500.00
Rust free first year car that still has all its's original sheet metal. Engine is not the original. It is a completely rebuilt 351 Windsor stroked to a 408. New 750 CFM Holley double pumper carb. Many new parts in the engine bay. C4 transmission with a high stall torque converter. New exhaust. Interior is good except for the rear corner of the headliner that came loose. Previous owner had cut the hood, so a 1968 Courgar GTE scoop was installed to cover the hole. It looks good. Also the car had been repainted at some time and it isn't the best, showing an orange peel texture. The last photo shows the paint texture. There are a few paint chips, but no dents. Tires and wheels are very good. Manual steering and no A.C. This is your chance to buy a Fun to drive Cougar that will be celebrating its' 50th anniversary next year. I have the right to end the sale because it is listed locally. The milage may increase because I still like to drive the car.
