You are bidding on a strong running 1967 Mercury Cougar, this car runs and drives out great, and gets a lot of attention where ever I take. The body and paint is in very good condition, the body is very straight down both sides of the car, has a small ding on the passenger side door, other than that, it is very straight, the paint is Maroon Satin street rod paint, and looks good, it's not a high gloss finish. The car has had some rust repairs made on it, before it was painted, the quarter panels have been replace with metal, front floor pans have been repaired, with metal, right side frame rail has been repair with heavy steal plating, has a little showing under the hood by the hood hinges, trunk is good and solid. Car has a very strong running 302 V8 motor, with a C4 Automatic Trans, this car runs and drives out great, it was an everyday driver from the guy I got it from. He had spent over 3000.00 in up dates on this car in the last 6 months, I have all the receipts from the work done, it is road worthy, you can fly in and drive this car home. All the glass is good on the car, windows roll up and down as they should, all the lights work fine, has all new brakes, and brake lines. The interior is in decent shape, but could use some up dating, starting to show some wear, but still presentable. Car has a brand new set of tires, and new Torgue Thrust Wheels, and they look really nice on the car. This car is a very nice daily driver, it is not a show car, but it is a very good start to being what ever level street rod you want it to be, or drive it like it is and enjoy it, as a daily driver like I have.
