Here is a very solid 1970 Mercury Cougar XR-7, just was shipped here from CA and had always been there since new, the undercarriage is perfect with no rust issues, all body panels are all solid, minor spot on drivers door corner, and also just a small rust spot in the trunk area where the drain holes are located, a great father-son project needing minimal rust repair, had always been in southern CA until a couple months ago. the interior is actually very presentable being all original black leather, dash pad is nice and straight, original A/C car but will need to be restored, very rare power windows, needs driver side switch, original headliner is still very nice, one tear a couple inches long, easy repair. Undercarriage all very solid, torque boxes/frame rails are perfect, (see pictures), also very nice floor pans never patched, wheel wells are also very nice. The original 351 Cleveland runs great, Power Disc brakes, power steering, could use a tune up but still lots of power, mileage was told all original just over 100K.
