Rare survivor classic muscle car, just over 1, 900 made! Purchased from original owner and comes with registration history, service and mainenance records.
Original 351 Cleveland engine with carburetor upgraded from 2 barrel to a stock 4. We've done all the work to make sure it's reliable and runs great.Clean, working, power convertible top and power seats and windows, cold A/C and am/fm radio. Black interior is original and intact.
Black exterior, in survivor condition, straight, no body damage and rust free. Small dings and would look great with a fresh paint job.
The 72-73 Cougar is the last of the Mustang based Cougars and sported a new aggressive grill and semi-fastback styling. This car marks the end of the 60's muscle car era and Mercury only produced 1, 929 convertibles in 1972. A lighter body and a slightly longer wheel base than the 71 and the reintroduction of the convertible option and XR7 are part of this two year production run, after 73 the Cougar was moved to a bigger sedan like chassis.
