UNIQUE VINTAGE BEAST!
Originally sold in Nebraska, this Colony Park wagon spent some time in New Jersey before I purchased it and had it shipped to me in Kentucky. Since it's arrival, it has gone through a thorough updating and refreshing, including:
Complete R134A ConversionNew Tires with alignmentUpgraded stereo including head unit, 4 speakers and a hidden 10 subwooferEngine gaskets, seals, and overall fine tuningNew hood ornamentNew alternator
When I purchased it, the following had been done:New ShocksNew BrakesNew dash cap
This is an accident free vehicle (as the CARFAX indicates). The title is clear with one exception; apparently, the mileage was read incorrectly in New Jersey, but the new title reflects the appropriate, precise mileage.
As you can see, this vehicle has been refreshed and is ready for the family vacation!
It is comfortably appointed with power locks, power windows, power steering, power brakes, power driver's seat, and a neat three-way tailgate with power window. It has PLENTY of room for passengers and cargo alike!

OVER 100 PICTURES BELOW; ENJOY! :)
As you can see, this beast looks great! I would call it a good 5 footer, because on closer inspection, there are markings of it's age. Somewhere in it's lifetime, somebody was a doof and did a pretty bad job of using touch up paint to cover a small part of the front clip and various spots on the woodgrain. Also, there are pen point pocks of rust on the hood and roof. There are two or three small indentations in the hood. But, for 34 years of age, it looks good and shines well. The chrome is also good with no pitting or corrosion.
The interior is clean and comfortable. The power seat driver's seat operates effectively. However, there is some staining on the front seats and the original dash has a few cracks and is now covered by a dash cap. The middle console has been trimmed to fit the new head unit. The instrument cluster cover has a crack near the base. Otherwise, it is in good, clean, and has no odors. All switches work effectively. The passengers side window sometimes slips. It doesn't fall off track; it just needs some assistance getting up and down sometimes.
The tops of the woodgrain on the door panels are faded. Also, some of adhesive has come apart due to age.
The horn button is on the column...lol. Takes a bit to get used to!
The upgraded stereo sounds great! The Pioneer head unit is bluetooth compatible, and includes AUX, cd player, and USB capabilities. The two front speakers are Polk DB521 5.25 and the rear are Polk DB571 5x7. The hidden subwoofer is a MTX XTL110p thunderlink 10 subwoofer (it bangs!). There is some clipping from the front speakers if you BLAST it, but it sounds great for four speakers inside of a HUGE beast.
The heater blows HOT; the A/C blows COLD.
The glove compartment light works intermittently and it is sometimes hard to close. But, it does in fact close.
I will say that the staining looks worse than it actually is. It isn't grotesque by any means; but, it is noticeable. The carpet is clean with no stains or odors. Occasionally, a portion of the corner of the passenger side carpet is wet from A/C drip, I believe. Included (not pictured) are two sets of floor mats. T The passenger side ash tray door does not close. The rear seat is clean with a few stains. One lap belt is missing. Also, the latch to allow the rear seat to fold down does not close completely. The headliner is new within the last year or two. It sags a bit in the rear, however (not the fabric itself, but the foam or whathaveyou). The spare tire is free of dry rot and looks to have never been used. Normally these vehicles will have a highly scratched rear cargo area, but this one is in great shape! The seat belts for the third row seat are missing. Makes it more adventurous, right? They don't call them rumble seats for nothin! Even with the subwoofer, you can sit in the back, provided you have small feet. The weatherstripping is in good shape and doesn't leak. The rear tailgate window is probably the most aged. The tailgate cover is not color matched. The exhaust does not stink. However, it runs cleaner if the A/C is on (the emissions air pump is on the same belt as the A/C; odd). The beast runs well and smoothly. The air cleaner hose is cracked due to age, but is now wrapped. The air pump is whiny but works as it should. There isn't anything wrong mechanically at all. It is reliable and has been tuned to run efficiently. The battery was in the vehicle when I purchased it, but it holds a charge like it should! Underneath, there is no rot; just old car corrosion. The structural and functional integrity of the vehicle is not affected in any way. The wheels are all original and while they have some marks from over 34 years of age, they are true with no bends or structural issues. All the bumper panel fillers are complete with no cracking.
Overall, this vehicle is comfortable, reliable, and road-ready. Mechanically, it is trustworthy and sound. Cosmetically, it has marks of age in regard to the interior and exterior. It is not a show car, but is a great daily driver that is sure to get some looks!
I have been intentional and honest about describing it's accurate condition. I know how it is buying on eBay! You can be confident in my disclosure and feedback.
Thanks for your interest! God Bless you!
