1993 Mercury Grand Marquis GS
For bid
is a well maintained 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis. In very good condition. Engine is strong with no problems, no check engine lights, no leaks, no oil burning. A/C is cold, heat is hot. Car starts right up. No overheating. Temperature gauge stays right in the middle. Cassette and Stereo function as they should. Transmission shifts well
with no problems. Relatively new, strong Motorcraft battery.
This is a very comfortable and smooth riding car. Great for long trips or as a daily driver. Cruise control works as it should. Car also has overdrive (see photo of gear shifter).
Overall paint condition is
excellent, with nice shiny original paint all over the car, no clear coat
peeling or fading. Interior is blue velvet and in excellent clean condition, both front and rear. No tears, no holes, never smoked in. Headliner is in excellent shape and fully intact. Dash is in good overall condition with two cracks on driver's side (see photos).
Trunk is clean with original spare intact and never used. Tires are in good condition with lots of tread (70-80%?) left. Please see photo.
The drivers side
lower rear door has a small dent, and the drivers side area below the front cornering lamp, as
shown in the photos. The door damage does not affect door operation in any way.
Passenger
front side window will not stay up, and slips down occasionally. ( You can
just push it back up).
Power
locks do not work (could be a fuse, I haven't looked at it).
Odometer
shows 140, 334, but has not worked for the last year. So add about 10, 000
miles additional.
Power
windows only works for the drivers window. As for the others, you can hear the
motors running, but nothing happens.
