I am selling a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis GS. It is a special Florida edition model (called PALM BEACH EDITION). This car is being sold as part of an estate sale. It has a clean title (no liens or anything), never in any type of accident, no mechanical issues, and has always been babied and very well maintained. The car has had only 1 elderly owner, and currently only 73K original miles on it. It has been garage kept for most of its life. The outside is dark green with a green leather top, and the inside is a beautiful green/gray 2-tone leather.
It has 2-tone leather interior, beautiful rag top, chrome exterior trim, chrome rims, all interior power options, keyless entry, etc.
We have 2 sets of original keys with one remote as well. Recent maintenance includes newer tires over the past year, new fuel pump, and new front brakes. The car drives great and will take you anywhere!
EXTERIOR:
The outside of the car is in excellent condition. It was always garage kept, and definitely shows it. No dents/scratches, nothing like that. Maybe a minor hairline mark here or there (finger-sized), but nothing noticeable. And a couple of minor nicks near the wheel well (pictured). Paint on car is overall very glossy and looks extremely beautiful! The car shines...
INTERIOR:
The interior of the car is in excellent condition as well. The leather seats are all supple and look great. Heat is hot/AC is cold, and all power/electronic options work as they should. It is a non-smoker car.
MECHANICALLY
Let me first start out by saying that I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car tomorrow from New York to Florida and then back. Considering the mileage and the condition, you can be assured it is in excellent shape mechanically. The car has always been looked upon and does not currently need anything. Maintenance has always been kept on it, and it's ready to go anywhere.
As a final note, all I can say is that this car is in excellent condition all around. If you're looking for a rare and well-maintained Grand Marquis that was babied from day one, this is it. Please know the car is being sold AS-IS without any warranty implied or expressed. Understand that this is a used older car, so don't expect it to be perfect.
