Purchased from collector in PA in 2011.
Have extra clock, box for matts, owner booklet and wiring diagram poster, and original turquoise valve covers.
On May-15-16 at 11:27:59 PDT, seller added the following information:Provenance - New in CA, sold to buyer in NV, sold to buyer in PA in 2010 and sold to me in NC in 2011.

| “Elegant show car in original condition. Rare 1960 Mercury Monterey Convertible. Height of 60s styling. Runs and handles well. Great on highway. Correct tires, battery, mats, upholstery with 58,200 miles. Dual exhaust with "Cherry Bomb" mufflers. Always garaged. RARE combination of 3 speed on the column with no power steering or brakes and power top. Includes an extra front windshield. Original one has a small hairline crack that has been like that for years but purchased the rare curved glass windshield as a back-up. The interior has a few fade spots and the exterior paint (repainted over 10 years ago)and chrome in great condition. New carpet& dash. Car is currently garaged in Blowing Rock, NC at our summer home. Very slow oil leaks but no other mechanical issues. Clock and radio do not work.” |
