Here is a very special vehicle indeed... Rare when new as FoMoCo only made 2, 592 Mercury convertibles, versus 50, 000 Ford units. How many can be left after 51 years? As noted earlier, this is not a restoration, but a well kept vintage car. The top is new, as is the boot, and it functions well. No rot to be found, solid as the day it was built. Brakes are new, along with a new Master Cylinder and Cardone Power Brake booster. New water pump, fuel pump, and alternator. All were replaced as preventive maintenance (you know how it is, when one goes, the rest follow). New Battery too, along with tires. Exhaust gaskets leak a little, but not objectionably, power steering travels with one finger. Included in the sale is a perfect Factory Air system that only needs to be installed. This car can be driven anywhere, FLY IN AND DRIVE IT HOME!
