I am selling a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer. This car is being sold as part of an estate sale. It has a clean title (no liens or anything), no mechanical issues, never in any type of accident, and has always been babied and very well maintained. The car has had only 1 elderly owner, and currently a little over 75K original miles on it. This is the top of the line model, and is silver on the outside, and black leather on the inside. The car has
EVERY AVAILABLE OPTION- leather, sunroof, 3rd row seat, all power options,
cd player, rear towing package, roof rack, alarm, remote start, keyless entry, tinted windows, etc.
We have 2 sets of original keys with two remotes as well. And all original books/window sticker, etc. Just about every piece of service record has been kept over the years! It was always dealer serviced and just had it's last service last week to the tune of almost $500. Tires have about 6, 000 miles on them. The car drives excellent, needs nothing, and will take you anywhere!
EXTERIOR:
The outside of the car is in excellent condition. It was garage kept, and definitely shows it. There are no dents/scratches, anything like that. The body itself is very straight and excellent. Paint on car is overall very glossy and looks beautiful!
INTERIOR:
The interior of the car is in excellent condition as well. The leather seats are all supple and look great. Heat is hot/AC is cold, and all power/electronic options work as they should. It is a non-smoker car.
MECHANICALLY
Let me first start out by saying that I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car tomorrow from New York to Florida and then back. Considering the mileage and the condition, you can be assured it is in excellent shape mechanically. The car has always been looked upon and does not currently need anything. Maintenance has always been kept on it, and it's ready to go anywhere.
As a final note, all I can say is that this car is in excellent condition all around. If you're looking for an excellent condition and low-mileage Mountaineer that was babied from day one, this is it. Please know the car is being sold AS-IS without any warranty implied or expressed. Understand that this is a used older car, so don't expect it to be perfect. Use judgment of pictures and ask any questions you might have.
