Up for auction is a 1939 Merc Lead Sled Full Radical Custom waiting to be finished. Ready for final sand and paint or leave it alone as it is sueded with metallic green roof. This is an all Steel car. Built by Bill Hines and Cowboy in 1959-1962 in California. Bill Hines chopped the top and did a frame swap with a 55- Chevy and hammer welded the whole body. Hand built skirts by Cowbody in 1959. This is a project for someone looking to build a 100 point full custom vehicle not a 100 point stocker. It was sold in California and put away for a long time. Everything is molded and shaved, nothing hacked! This car is pro-built in the late 1950's- early 60's by Bill Hines himself. This car was fully leaded at one point in time but is completely stripped and filled with modern filler and epoxy primer by a world renowned body shop.
