The Marauder name first appeared in 1958 from Lincoln and Mercury. In 1964 Mercury Marauder debuted as a mid-year model sometimes called the 1963½. The Marauder featured a sloping fastback, more powerful 390 v8, upgraded multi drive Merc-O-Matic automatic transmission and more. This more aerodynamic roofline was developed for campaigning in the NASCAR circuit, and assisting these models to be more competitive in racing…This is a real nice original example, of a 1964 Mercury Marauder sports coupe. It is equipped with back up lights, power steering and brakes, rear radio speaker, tinted windshield, remote side mirror, factory spinner hub cabs and brand new tires…A TRUE SURVIVOR..This car has mostly original paint, original interior, matching numbers motor and transmission and only 113, 800 original miles.
