An Original California Custom Built Street Rod. Built in San Diego approx 50 yrs. ago. 472 Cadillac Engine, T400 Auto Trans. 9 Ford Rear. Carson removable top. Still in Primer Finish with ( ? ) Unbelievable Pinstripe job to include Dash and Engine Bay. All Custom Body Work Has to be seen to truly appreciate the time that went into this car. Car spent some time at Kick Ass Rod Shop In NC and they have said that the frame work on this car is excellent. Interior is unfinished. Hidden doors and trunk release. No windows. Car is almost like a Time Capsule back to Calif. Street Rod Scene. I have had Car for 2 yrs. indoors and never driven it. I did drive it on the day I bought it and the owner took me on a ride I will never forget. It Is FAST ! I fell in Love and Paid way too much for it but I have had the Pleasure of seeing and talking to her for the past 2 yrs. I truly just want the right person to have her to enjoy or finish what someone 50 yrs ago had in their mind. What I do know is Is it was built early 70's in San Diego , Calif. Have copy of title. Have talked to owner at that time and he said when he bought it a lot of the work had been done. He installed eng, trans, rear, 53 corvette grille and then sold it. Years later without being finished it ended up in NC at Kick Ass Rod Shop. It was pinstriped there and battery moved to trunk among other things. Talked to the owner there, JR Drake, and he said car was built well, especially on the underside. I am selling this car because I feel someone needs to finish it the way it was intended and then driven. It may sound silly , but as a member of Good Guys this car deserves to be at the shows I see in there. Its history alone makes this special. Find another one.
