Item Description:
Fresh Barn find. 1972 Mercury Brougham 2-Door hardtop with 460 Police Inceptor motor and an automatic transmission. 54, 995 original miles. This car is in very good condition for its age. With full power option, (of course from 1972), it is a very unique ride. VIN# 3Z64452091
We observed the vinyl hard top is in good condition except two minor stretch areas below the rear window, which we understand had been problematic for this year model.
If you’re looking for a cool ride or a unique classic that can actually go down the road and be useful, this may fit the need.

(Good)
We are aware it had been sitting for a few years however started right up with a fresh battery. This ride runs, drives and stops, this classic (although ugly) would make easy restoration or a cool lead sled. There is no obvious rust and the interior is very clean. The circles on the front seats are designs, not mold spots.
The trunk is clean and the car appears complete. Although not mint condition; it will clean-up very nice and can be driven the way it is.
We would not be concerned to take the ride cross country, although a fresh set of tires likely would be a good idea before a long road trip.
The vintage dash is interesting as there is no cracking on the dash board and the radio works well; however you have to wait for the tubes to warm up.
(Not so Good)
We noted some small tears in the headliner; however is in overall good shape for its age. There are also two spots on the rear vinyl top below the rear window, where some separation has occurred from stretching. These can be seen in the photos.
There is only one small area on the driver seat that shows a rub mark from the shoulder belt, Other than that the 70s interior upholstery is surprisingly nice.
Item History:
We have owned this car for several years and used it on our property. We do not know its prior history apart from buying it from the prior owner.
Item Condition:
The overall condition and appearance of this vehicle is good for its age. Typical wear and tear can be observed in the usual places. The paint appears as original and is without excessive fading and had scratches.
The scratches and other normal use indicator are apparent. These items appear functional and do not affect the mechanical operation of the car. The car runs, drive, stops.
On the rear trunk deck lid, has a is minor paint separation. It appears the clear coat has lifted. This area is about the size of a dinner plate.
We observed the left tail light is out; however all other lights are operating, We noted that the recessed headlight covers function as they should.
We have all four matching and original hub caps. The one not shown in the photo is in the trunk of the car.
We believe there are no problems with the mechanical operation of the drive train, but we have only driven this car around our property.

This item is located near Blanchard, ID (99156) although just over the Washington State line (We are located approximately 1 hour north from Spokane WA).
Shipping Details:
Due to the excessive weight it is not practical to ship these conventionally. All shipping arrangement will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Loading Assistance:
We would prefer local pickup; however should you need to arrange truck freight, and we can accommodate a tractor trailer at the base of our drive way, or we would suggest a medium size self-loading roll back to transport this vehicle to Spokane, WA or Spirit Lake or Newport ID for truck transport if needed. If you prefer to pick-up with a pick-up and stout double axle trailer we can assist with driving onto your trailer.
