1949 Mercury The ULTIMATE Mercury Street Rod!!
Ground up restoration on a 1949 Mercury with a 1957 392 Hemi Engine backed by a Chevy Turbo 400 Transmission, With Power Steering. The Merc. has a Nova Front Clip with front disk brakes backed by a 8 3/4 mopar rearend with 3:23 gears. The roof was chopped 3 inches. The Grill is a 1955 Desoto. The car has Moon Gages that all work!! This car is very clean and was used has my daily driver when weather was clear. Great highway car and easy on gas. The 392 Hemi has a mild cam with a rich sound and get up and go when you need it!!
