1953 Mercury 4-door sedan. This vehicle is complete and was driven as recent as 7 years ago. It belonged to a friend of mine who passed away in 2010. He had owned the car since the late 1970's and, at one time, it was a very nice driver-quality car. I bought the car from his estate with the idea that I would restore it. However, my other restoration project (1968 AMX) has made me decide that I just don't have the patience to restore cars anymore. This car is complete, however it does have some rust issues. The floors are soft and the lower panels are rotted. It would take some work if you wanted to make this thing a show queen. However, if you wanted a rat rod, it would be great for that. It has not been robbed of parts and is a complete car. The entire drive train is there, as well as the interior. It has just deteriorated from sitting.
