Here we have a 1951 Mercury sedan, nicer than your average east coast unrestored or unmodified Mercury. The last time this car was on the road a peanut farmer from Georgia was in the White House. I'll give you a brief rundown of the condition, but any questions, feel free to ask or email me a phone number and a good time to call you, and I will call with information. Also, please note, I have 170 pictures of this car uploaded, and I have a video of the engine running, just ask and I will send the link. This car has a pretty solid front seat area rearward. The trunk floor is much nicer than average. Rear floor is very nice. It is 100 percent complete, and for the most part, untouched and original. It would need brakes, front floors, wiring and inner and outer rockers. Other than that, fix it up as you need. Doors open and close solidly. Hood and trunk lid operate smoothly, and trunk lid is extremely nice in and out. Hood has a little rust under the trim. The flathead purrs like a kitten and the car drove in the field adjacent to my house forward and backward as it should, running off of an auxiliary gas can. I have a video of the flathead running, as well as the quiet single exhaust still intact on the vehicle. If you are looking for an original uncluttered car to either restore or customize and don't want to redo someone elses hack job, this car is for you. This car has a clean title and has all of the original keys as well. There is a reserve on the car and although I have a lot of Mercurys and Mercury parts at the moment, I am not in a rush to sell this. I wish I could keep them all, but alas I really can not.
