1964 Mercury Montclair. Very little rust. Solid car. Before water pump bearing collapsed and fan ploughed it's way into the radiator, she ran and drove well. That was 9 years ago. Since, she has sat in my barn on blocks with a car cover over her looking very neglected.
I had Deans Radiator Repair in Lincoln NE Overhaul Radiator and Top Header Tank. Purchased New Water Pump and Fuel Filter. Installed a rebuilt Carter 4 Barrel temporarily so I could move car. Interior roof lining is shot. Front seats are well worn. Carpets and back seat not terrible, not great either. Rear electric window works. Paint job is horrible. Has the factory AC Compressor, Original radio, electric windows and seat.
Car would make a Great Rat Rod or As Is Driver.

A little rust where drivers side rear door seals. Only surface. Car did run. Installed Carter reconditioned 4 Barrel Carb. Has dual a exhaust, no rear mufflers. Dash has a few cracks. Seats had better days. Paint done by an amateur. Photos show trunk lock missing and a rear tail light lens. Car comes with replacement lens and trunk lock.” |
