Description:

If you're looking for a
LOADED
mini-muscle car that no one else has today, this is your car. Yes it has issues that a 45 year old, mostly original classic, has. But nothing that can't be restored. What level of restoration is completely up to the buyer. I am just not up to the task of restoring it to it's true pedigree. There are numerous reasons I am unable to do it. I purchased the car because of it's paint & trim combination. Which is the same as my first car as a senior in high school.
The previous owner has stated the car was running off a gas can and did replace the actual gas tank and sending unit. He also had the carb rebuilt. Evidently the problem is in the gas line. The A/C unit is currently off the engine, but appears to be there. I am not sure if all the accessories are in working order.
You don't see 70 or 71 Cyclones on the road, let alone a documented 1 of 4. There is a typo on the personal Marti Report. The new one states the correct trim as ginger, and not red as appears in the photo. I do have a copy of the corrected version, but no photo. Of the little over 10, 000 1970 Cyclone GT's built, only 10 had factory sunroofs. A group of Cyclone owners have only seen, or heard, of 3 GT's with sunroofs, still around. A blue one in Illinois, but no real confirmation, 1 in Minnesota, a Dark Ivy Green that has been restored. And this one. There is some history speculated about the ordering of this car. I can put you in contact with a person that knows.
There are a few needed missing parts, or parts that need replaced. But, the 'bones' are there. I do have a donor/parts car, and additional parts available at extra cost.
This car is available elsewhere and is subject to another sale.
A $500 deposit is due 24 hours of the winning bid. Balance payable in cash, or certified funds within 7 days. Title is assigned to me from the previous owner. At settlement a Pa title will be applied for and then transferred to the buyer. The car will need to be transported to it's new destination. Currently the car is located in Littlestown, Pa. 17340

“We've all heard the word "rare" used. This is a documented, 1 of 4, of the 10 factory sunroof GT's produced in 70.This highly optioned Cyclone needs a complete restoration from it's current, mostly original, condition because of it's pedigree. And, unfortunately, I'm not the person capable of doing that. There are rust issues, especially the rear 1/4's. Also 2 small patches will be needed on both the driver & passenger floors. All but one piece of the GT chrome trim is there, including the trunk piece. There are dings and dents. Rear bumper and valance are not straight. Trim rings and caps are correct, but do have road rash.Interior looks to be mostly original and what I consider to be in very good condition. Dash pad is cracked in the usual spot. Rimblow, tray package, and dash need help. Console, door panels are really good.Am-Fm radio is missing.351C-4V engine. Needs gas line to run. Gas tank, sending unit, Petronix recently replaced. Rebuilt carb.”
