It is time to let this beauty go since I have moved out of state and now have limited space for it. I literally get stopped everywhere I go while driving this car. It is a beautiful California registered MGA that I have owned for the last 18 years. It is in wonderful shape for being 57 years old.
Most everything has been reworked over the last two decades between me and the previous owner who also lived in California. The body is straight and I have never had to worry about rust in Los Angeles. It has a beautiful black finish with a red leather interior. I can count on one finger when the car has not started up for me. I have owned a lot of cars and that can not be said about them.
I have enclosed photos for you to peruse. Please feel free to ask me questions regarding the car. As well, you are more than welcome to inspect the vehicle. There is no warranty on this car expressed or implied. While going over my receipts I have driven it only 5797 miles in the last 18 years. It is not a “concours” car but one that you can immediately enjoy as you can see in the photos. From the original vintage California license plates to the back chrome luggage rack. The engine bay is not been touched and the front shocks probably need new seals. The paint looks great but there are some very minor chips and scratches. The car has a newer 1600cc MGA motor (16GA/ U/2704) that was reworked about 1500 miles ago. The windshield wiper pump is not set up since I never take it out in the rain. The tachometer and the vintage radio are also not hooked up.
Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer, but I will try to cooperate with Buyer’s shipper.
The reserve is set at $18, 000.00 A non-refundable deposit of $1, 000 through PayPal will be required within 24 hours of auction end. The rest must be paid by bank wire transfer within seven days of auction end. If either condition is not met, the MGA will be either offered to the next highest bidder, or re-listed at my option. The car, once paid for, may remain on my property for a short time, not to exceed one month, while transportation arrangements are made. I will not be responsible for any damage or loss to the car, once it is paid for.
