1972 MGB Convertible. For it's age the car is in great condition. Original paint. New top and tonneau cover! Clean inside and out. Have seen only some minor rust; 3 spots about the size of a dime on hood and a spot about the size of a dime on drivers side rear quarter panel. Chrome is spotless. Original wired rims and good tread on the tires.
The car cleans up nice, but the interior does need some work (to be excepted on a car this age), such as a crack on the padded dash. However, seats are in good shape and door panels are in decent shape.
Mileage reads 44266, but am not certain that is original. The car sat still for a year or so, but now runs and drives like a champ. Is insured and tagged and driven occasionally. A lot of fun to drive. Have completely tuned up engine. Recent work preformed on car is:
* New tappets/lifters, adjusted valves.
* Points, rotor button, distributor cap, plugs and wires, and set the advanced timing.
* Both carburetors rebuilt and tuned.
* New brake master cylinder, brakes, and brake system completely flushed.
* New clutch cylinder and system flushed as well.
* New exhaust system from behind the header to the tail pipe.
Have the original smog control and a few other spare parts and original title.
This classic just needs a good home. Currently resides in Conway, SC.
