Here's a great old shoe of an MGB. I'm it's second owner. I drove this car about ten miles each way to work for a few years, and it almost always put a smile on my face. It's a strong runner. Still fitted with its (properly set up!) SU's. Car holds an idle without hunting No flat spots. rips to red line. Shifts and stops as it should, clutch is good and electrics are in order except for horns. Moto Lita wheel, euro tail light lenses, and Lucas PL headlights, chrome wires. This car is a driver, a ten footer re- sprayed in black originally primrose. No collision damage, original aluminum hood etc. Lots of patina. This has a Pow'r Pak factory rebuild. It's the strongest running B I've owned and I've had maybe a half dozen over forty plus years. What it needs? Hmmm. It sits low, and rides stiff. I like it but you might think rear springs? Some minor rust bubbles down low on the fenders/rockers, but a solid car, not a bucket. Have some spares, split bow top, never used it. I drove it as you see it. It's a good ol' MkII.
