1972 MGB Restored
This perfect 1972 MGB convertible roadster.
ENGINE:
Rebuilt by Z-mech auto in Raleigh, NC. Bored out, new pistons, crankshaft, valve train.Weber 2 bbl carburetors, new oil-pump and hoses, new radiator, water pump and hoses.Runs like new, 70 mph on the Interstate and gets over 25 mpg.
EXTERIOR:
Exterior repainted in the late 1980's with good DuPont paint (red). Polishes to a nice shine, though there are a few imperfections here and there. It is definitely a looker
INTERIOR:
Entire front cabin is black with restored upholstery. New seats in black, new mats with MG logo. New retractable seat belts. Trunk (boot) carpet and spare tire package, original MG jack. Spare tire is full size with MG badge. All gauges and accessories are functional. Upgraded Phillips audio system with 2x2 (side and rear) speakers.
Included with the MGB are service and parts manuals (Hanes, Leyland, restoration guide), owners glove compartment booklet and tonneau cover, and standard convertible cover, and a battery tender/ connector for the 12v sealed battery.
