1980 MGB
The last year produced.
This 1980 MGB is in great running condition. There are no mechanical issues. This model has the rare features of 3 windshield wipers and an Overdrive transmission.
Also, it has wire wheels which are a hard to find option on the later MGBs.
It is a rust free California car.
All the light lenses were recently replaced with original Lucas parts and new halogen headlights were also installed. The tachomenter and speedometer are not currently working.
The convertible top is near new and excellent. The paint is serviceable.
Also recent is a $600 JVC stereo system with 6 x 9 Kenwood rear speakers and Kenwood door speakers which put out great sound. This system comes with Bluetooth, Pandora and XM radio-ready, and microphone so you can hook up your cell phone and talk hands-free. It is a removable face plate radio for added security.
I need to thin my collection down or I would not let this one go. It is not a 100 point show car, but a good driver that will give years of enjoyment to the next owner.
If someone were to put a seat kit in it and a new paint job, it would be a $10, 000 car.
