The car runs beautifully and drives great! It starts immediately and doesn’t require any warmup to drive off. The transmission, which is an upgrade with a Datsun 280ZX 5 speed rebuilt transmission, shifts PERFECTLY into and out of all gears including on the downshifts. The clutch action is perfect as well. The brakes are all in good working order and the car stops predictably and straight, just like it should. The suspension is tight! It sports a SPAX tube-shock conversion, a desirable improvement. The exhaust system is in perfect order.
I own an MG myself and have sold several MG's for friends before and I am impressed by how well this car runs and drives. The engine is very peppy and with the 5 Speed transmission it behaves VERY well on the highway and you can comfortably cruise at 75 mph.

The only issues with this car are body cosmetic, there are a several scratches here and there, partly from having had a hard-top for several years. But they are not very noticeable with the convertible top on. As you may know, it is rust that you have to worry about. And this car is clear in that department, the floorboards were professionally replaced within the last year or so. There are just a few small bubbling issues (pictured) that seem very stable.
Note about the odometer, it shows mileage of about 68, 000. But the DMV must have found some kind of mileage discrepancy in the past and the title shows a mileage of 999, 999 which is the regulation for any odometer discrepancy. From the condition of the engine, it expect that the engine was overhauled within the last several years.

The body has been modified with a Sebring-style kit. It’s very attractive!
This is a car that is on the road right now, it needs nothing to pass Massachusetts Inspection and take you on a road adventure.
